The 6th International Sea Duck Conference will be held a short walk from the Lodge at Tiburon at the Corinthian Yacht Club, 43 Main Street, Tiburon, CA 94920. The Corinthian Yacht Club is one of the oldest, most beloved, prominent landmarks in the San Francisco area with a breathtaking view of the San Francisco Bay, Angels Island, Treasure Island, Alcatraz, and the downtown San Francisco skyline.

Each day of the science program starts with a plenary speaker that is then followed by three consecutive thematic sessions that include contributed oral presentations on a wide range of contemporary topics such as the following: adaptive management, breeding ecology, resource selection during winter and migration, foraging ecology and nutrition, carryover effects and reproductive success, innovative techniques for sea duck studies, disease ecology, population dynamics. A featured session focuses on “Planning Restoration and Recovery for Sea Ducks Injured in Coastal Oil Spills.”
